Bell's Canyon

Bella was very excited to hike in her canyon today. She was a trooper and really pushed it. She was thrilled to see the "fairies making the lake sparkle!"

June loved riding along.

Bella loved dipping her feet in the stream (sorry I know it is watershed!) especially once she noticed the flecks of gold in the sand!

Fishing!

Grandpa decided to was time to take his granddaughters (and Mr. Cooper) fishing. Bella was very excited. She has had her eye on a pink princess pole and tackle box for some time now. I think we were the first to ever show up with 3 princesses fishing girls at the hatchery.

Bella and her dad worked on her casting and she caught a fish!

She couldn't believe it when it was a pink one. She promptly named it Princess and calls it the Pink Rainbow Trouter.

She wasn't about to touch it, but got this close for a picture.

Uncle Paul helped June touch her first fish. She was not happy after!
But she did like the fishing pole. Afterwards, we headed back to Janine's for a fish fry. Lily and Bella put on a great dance show. We had some much fun and can't wit to go fishing again. Bella has been telling everyone that fishing is her new favorite sport and in her prayers every night thanks Heavenly Father that she could catch the "Pink Rainbow Trouter Fish."

Par's Birthday

Happy Birthday Par!

Today was my Grandpa's 85th Birthday. It has always been so much fun to celebrate his birthday close to the fourth of July. I have great memories of fun parties for him!

We are ready to swim! Everyone is finally better at our house and we are ready for some good times in the sunshine!

June's Summer Tips

Since it is finally warming up, June wanted to share with you her tips for a really great summer!

Eat as many popsicles as you can!

Make sure you have a great pair of sunglasses!

A really cool ride! (This one is especially cool because you can beep the horn with your belly!)

Go naked as often as possible!

Happy Father's Day

Bret and his dad went fishing the Friday before Father's Day. They had a great couple of days, golfing and fly fishing. It looks like they caught quite a few good ones too. Thank goodness they put them back!
