Tinkerbella Dancerella

Saturday, December 29, 2007

We love Bella Dancerella. It is very serious to Bella. She likes to be in full costume and really concentrates to follow what they are showing on the show. We have to do this every day. It is pretty darn cute to watch!

The Sweater

I just have to say that I love Boston the dog. She was running around in the cutest Texas sweater on Christmas. It is making me thing I need a dog! Her parents are pretty cute too!

Babies, Babies, Babies

Tuesday, December 25, 2007

So the big news on Christmas at the Baker House was BABIES! Congratulations to Kerry and Shawn, Candice and Chris, and Lauren and Paul! More nieces and nephews, what a great Christmas present!

Guitar Hero!

Too many pictures to chose from of the party over at Garriott's. Everyone was there and it was crazy fun! Aunt Heather was great to share Guitar Hero with Bella. Check out the rest of them on Bret's flickr!

Christmas Morning!

Santa pulled through with the throne! And Bella loves it. It even says her name. I guess it was all worth it in the end. Opening presents was great, Isabelle was thrilled with everything. I was hoping for a bigger reaction from the Bitty Baby Doll, but what does Mom know? I loved my new pink Nintendo DS, but the best was Bret's surprise. I managed to get a 42" HDTV for him without him finding out. His parents brought it over for me first thing Christmas morning. It was awesome to see his face. I finally surprised him with something he really wanted!

Christmas Jammies

Monday, December 24, 2007

We opened our pajamas on Christmas Eve so we could be ready for Santa. I had these really cute ones for Bella, with monkey's dressed up like Santa. She opened them up and said "I don't like those jammies." And refused to even put them on. Luckily, mom had a couple of back-ups. (There is something to be said about never being able to make up your mind!) She wanted the ladybugs, so I guess it was all okay in the end!

Grandpa DeYoung's Party

Every Christmas Eve we go to Bret's Grandpa DeYoung's Christmas Party in Ogden. It was snowing like crazy this year, but we still made it. A big part of the party is the family talent show. Isabelle was very excited for another opportunity to perform in front of people. She jumped right up to be first and sang "It's A Small World." She wanted to participate in every number! My favorite was all the kids singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. It has been our favorite song this year! The highlight is always when Santa comes. Bella asked for Barbies with long dresses, which came as quite the surprise. It is so nice of Bret's Grandpa to put on such a fun party every year. We love you Grandpa DeYoung!

12th Day of Christmas

On the 12th day of Christmas, we received a set of the 12 Days of Christmas ornaments. I really wanted these and was so excited to get them. Thanks Mom and Dad for making Christmas so much fun for our family!

Hannah Montana!!!

Sunday, December 23, 2007

I love this picture of Gracie in her Hannah Montana wig. We had the Garriott Family Christmas Party on Saturday night and it was great. Heather put together a great little movie with pictures of us at Christmas Time through the years. It was funny to watch. The kids each got to open a present from their Aunts and Uncles. Bella got a fabulous art kit. We have been doing art when ever she can now. Her favorite part, the glitters and glitter glue. Oh, and the googly eyes, an essential part of every art project. Check out the rest of our pictures on the Baker photos link. Be sure to look at the one of Baby Caroline with the bow on her head. What a cute present!

11th Day of Christmas

On the 11th day of Christmas, Danbury Fudge! Mom promptly hid that away!

Grandma Chris

I love this picture of Bella with Grandma Chris. She is one of her favorite people. One of her favorite things is to have Grandma show her all the special things she has. Thanks Grandma for being so sweet with our girl. I hope the special relationship you two have will carry on forever!

10th Day of Christmas

Saturday, December 22, 2007

For the 10th day of Christmas, breakfast is served! Pancake mix, syrup and even bacon!

Meeting Boston

Natalie brought her cute little dog, Boston home for Christmas. Usually Bella is terrified of dogs, but Boston is such a little thing, she didn't seem to frighten her. She was laughing about Boston's little tail for quite a while after.

9th Day of Christmas

Ihave a Book Daddy

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

This morning Daddy was looking for a book in the office. Bella came in and asked him what he was doing. He told her looking for a book for the bus. Bella ran back into her room, took a book out of her bookshelf and brought it to him. "This is a good one for the bus Daddy. It has Jasmine in it." Isn't she the sweetes thing ever?

7th Day of Christmas

We received a wreath and suckers today. Bella chose the sucker with "Happy Feet" on it for her own. But later decided Dad could have one, but not Mom. She doesn't like them. The wreath fits perfectly around a star decoration I got the last time we were in Texas. I love it!

6th Day of Christmas

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

This has been Bella's favorite so far, a Belle puzzle. She and Daddy had a great time. Bella also let us know it says on the instructions, "Do this puzzle with Mommy and Daddy over and over tonight!"

Santa at Preschool

Bella was thrilled when Santa surprised her at her preschool party. She asked him for a new snow hat. (This was a surprise to me!) Some of the other kids were a little nervous, but not Bella, she went right up to see him when it was her turn. Afterwards, she did some fabulous dancing to Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree for him.

5th Day of Christmas

Monday, December 17, 2007

A box of orange sticks for the 5th Day of Christmas. It really can't be Christmas without them!

4th Day of Christmas

3rd Day of Christmas

On the third day of Christmas, we all got new socks!

2nd Day of Christmas

Friday, December 14, 2007
On the 2nd Day of Christmas, our secret elf gave us a gingerbread house kit and a book, called Gingerbread Baby. We had a great time putting the house together, Bella's favorite part was the eyes Daddy put on the little man in front. She calls them googgly eyes!

12 Days of Christmas 1st Day

Thursday, December 13, 2007

Someone left a big box of presents on our doorstep tonight, one for each day of the 12 days of Christmas. We have an idea who it is, but are going to keep guessing. Isabelle wouldn't wait to get her clothes on to look at our first surprise! It was yummy popcorn balls and a little nativity.

Preschool Program

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

We had our preschool program yesterday. These pictures that look like she isn't having fun, that is pretty much what she did the entire time. She perked up for her reindeeer antlers and to sing Rudolph, tolerated the sunglasses, but beyond that, not much else ws going on. She sang, but just was not into it. She kept asking if we were done yet and could go to dinner. She had chosen to go to dinner at Iggy's. It is her favorite place because she can get a pink sparkly drink. We went to dinner, but all she wanted to do was snuggle Mom. That should have been a clue that something was wrong. We made it home and she threw up! At least it wasn't at the restuarant or in the car!

Don't Worry Momma!

Tuesday, December 11, 2007
I had a dentist appointment today, so Jen offered to watch Bella for me. She was so excited to play with Jake and Abe. As I dropped her off she said "Don't worry about me Momma, I'll be having fun!"

Little Ballerina

Sunday, December 9, 2007

Bella had her first dance performance on Friday night. It was quite the show. She has been so excited about this for so long, and she loved every mionute of being on the stage. She has the bug and can't get enough of being in front of people! Thanks to everyone who came and watched her, you really went above and beyond the call of duty! (Especially you uncles who had to sit through it, I hope the tapping grannies made it worth it!)

Gingerbread Cookies

Bella has had it in her head that she wanted to make gingerbread cookies with Dad for the last few days. She has been a little sick so Bret kept her home from church abd they had a great time! The cookies weren't too bad either!
