Putting Up the Tree

Monday, November 30, 2009
We spent the morning getting out the Christmas decorations and putting up the tree. Both girls were very excited about this jingle bell wreath.
June was not happy when the wreath magically disappeared for the rest of the holiday season. (One of those magical decorations bought before children!)

Bella putting up one of her favorite ornaments, a penguin.
June loved Tinkerbell!

Family Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 26, 2009
We spent Thanksgiving Day with my family this year. June quickly learned that Aunt Heather had access to the olives!
The three babies, who really aren't babies anymore!
Grandma prepared a wonderful feast and June was happy to try everything!

Bella was a little pickier, actually, she just wanted to play with her cousins.
I think it was a bad idea to wait until the end of the night to try for a Cousins Photo! Better try again at Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Christmas Penguin

Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Tonight we found a penguin stuffed animal on our porch. Bella had a couple of explanations for it. "Maybe Santa was out practicing his sleighing and he left it there to let me know I was being good." or my favorite "Maybe it is from our secret Christmas lover." Who will ever know?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sunday, November 22, 2009
How could I not be so thankful, look at my little loves!

We had our usual Thanksgiving dinner the Sunday before. Bret swears it is just an excuse for me to use the china once a year, but I love it.
I am so blessed!

Leaves

Sunday, November 1, 2009
It was a beautiful fall afternoon, so we tried for another picture in the leaves.
We went to Murray Park for some place different.
We didn't have too much luck...
But not for lack of trying.
June was not happy about being covered in leaves,
And kept leaving. We ended up having a great little leaf fight.
This is the one with them sitting the best, too bad about the tongues!
Bella loves climbing around the lampposts.

June kept checking out the ground and chasing after dogs.
We'll try again next year.

Happy Fall!
