Wheeler Farm

Monday, September 28, 2009
Bella's school had a fun field trip to Wheeler Farm.
Bella was brave and fed the horses!
Alexa was the only one who dared pet the cow!
Of course we had to feed the ducks!
Everyone loved this duck with the funny feathers on it's head!

June thought the duck was especially funny and kept pointing to the bow on her head and then the duck. I am sure she was telling me that the duck was wearing a hairbow!

All the girls together!

Fall Colors

Sunday, September 27, 2009
We headed up Butterfield Canyon to try and get a few pictures in the fall colors. The leaves were beautiful.Bella started off strong, posing for America's Next Top Model.
June just wasn't interested!

We saw some deer. We actually saw 5 or 6 in this little gully and got really close before they took off. It was pretty cool.
Then we saw this baby bat. We left this spot really quick. They are creepy even as babies!
Two sad girlies! We walked through thistles and June saw a dog she wanted to play with. This signaled the end!
Nothing will make these two smile!

They sort of rallied in the end, but I still think we will need to try again!

Ride Em Cowgirls

The girls love their rocking toys! Look how cute they are!

Littlest Mermaid

Just a little cutie in the tub!

The Circus

Thursday, September 24, 2009
Bella has been asking to go to the circus for a little while (I'm not sure why!) so her sweet Daddy surprised her with tickets. We went early enough that she could go to the clown school before.
She was a little uncertain about meeting the clowns, but she did warm up to them eventually.
She was very impressed with girls in sparkly outfits.
Liked trying to balance on the ball.
And even tried on a costume. I think on the whole, her favorite part was the new light up crown she picked as a souvenir.

All Caught Up

Tuesday, September 22, 2009
So there you have it, I have finally caught up 2 months worth of blog posts. If anyone reads this regularly, sorry for the wait. If you are interested, there are about 30 new posts to check out. Hopefully, we will get things up better from now on!

This Is the Place

Friday, September 18, 2009
For our Friday Fun, we decided to check out This IS The Place Park. Not all the buildings were open, but Bella loved looking in all the windows.

We had funny doing crafts and talking to people about the pioneer days.
Bella was very excited to find this hidden Z!

The petting zoo was the hit. June loved the little animals.
Bella could went for a pony ride. She would have riden all day if we would have let her.
June liked the idea of the horse and acted like she wanted a ride. Once she was on the pony, she quickly changed her mind.

Face Painting

Thursday, September 17, 2009
We were at a birthday party an Bella was very excited to have a mermaid painted on her face. June isn't as sure about the flower on her!

Rock Band

Monday, September 14, 2009
Grandma Pattie received Beatles Rock Band for her birthday. I think we have a future superstar on our hands!

Funny Girl

It has been forever since I have updated and I have about 20 posts that need to go up so get ready! For now, I just have to add a quick story about Bella. June loves to sing "Happy and You Know It" and she will clap her hands. This will usually keep her happy when she is getting close to melt down. Bella is always making up different things to do besides clap your hands. We were doing a little shopping at Costco one afternoon a few weeks ago and had been playing this little game throughout the store. We were finally in line and Bella was trying really hard to keep June happy. She came up with "If your happy and you know it show you bum." And dropped her drawers. Yes, there was her cute little behind for all the world to see in line at Costco. (It wasn't even in an aisle so I could hide.) I quickly told her to pull her pants up and that we never do that. The biggest problem, I was trying so hard not to laugh that I had to just say "You are going to have to talk to your Dad about this when he gets home tonight!"

Curlers

Sunday, September 13, 2009
I love to tie Bella's hair up in rag curlers for Sunday. June usually watches and this time, she insisted on one of her own. I didn't leave it in too long, I was afraid she would end up pulling it out along with the little hair she does have!

Shots

Friday, September 11, 2009
Poor little girls. It was shot day at the doctor. 4 for June and 5 for Bella. It was not an easy experience and as you can see, it wore the girls out. (The parents were pretty tired from holding them down too!)

Cascade Springs

After the shots, we needed a pretty easy hike so we went to Cascade Springs.

It is a beautiful spot. It has a nice little boardwalk to walk around on. Bella kept looking for fairies at work in the water.
It looks like the leaves are already starting to change colors.
I took a spill while carrying June in the backpack. It was a little scary, but thank goodness she was strapped in tight!

Twirly Skirts

Thursday, September 10, 2009
Grandma Pattie made all the girls these darling skirts. Bella and June were very excited to wear them! They both look so cute!

Park Day

Wednesday, September 9, 2009
Bella's school had a fun field trip to the park. Bella was especially excited, but I think it might have been because I let her wear her hat!
Bella with her friend Taeya

June trying her first cheeto, she loved it.

Nightgown

Tuesday, September 8, 2009
June decided she was a big girl and needed a nightgown. She really pulled this off the rack and refused to let go. She looks like such a big girl. It looks like we have another princess on our hands!

Game Night

Sunday, September 6, 2009
Grandma Pattie and Grandpa Boyd planned a fun game night with all the Garriott's. Bella loves playing with her cousins!

Bret helped the younger kids play Don't Wake Daddy, always a crowd favorite!
Grandma Pattie and Abby showing off their skills at Apples to Apples. Thanks for a fun night, let's do it again soon!
