Egg Hunt

Sunday, March 28, 2010
After church we headed up to an egg hunt at Grandma Pattie's house. The kids were very excited to find the eggs. It is always funny at my parent's house. They hide the real eggs along with the fake ones. We always seem to have one real one that takes a long time to find!
It was kind-of warm so the kids were ready to head outside and play.

Abe had some great poses for us!

These kids were just to excited, they ran and played and had a great time.

Easter Dresses

Since General Conference is on Easter Sunday, I had the girls wear their Easter dresses today.
June loves to come and show her dad anytime she has anything fancy.

I love the pink sparkly shoes!

She really wanted to pose in bunny ears!
Funny girl!
In the end, she just wanted her blankie!
Beautiful Bella!
How did my little girl get this big?

This is Bella's model pose.

You should try getting these two to pose together.
They were being so silly!

Trying to be serious, I was still laughing!
Happy Easter!

Park

Saturday, March 27, 2010
Even though it wasn't exactly warm, it looked sunny outside and it seemed like a perfect afternoon to fly a kite. We headed over to a local playground.
My parents found this fun Tinkerbell kite for the girls and it was soon flying high!

Bella was very excited just to be outside and running around.

It took a little coaxing, but eventually we had June going down the slide. And she loved it.
On the bridge!
We can't wait for spring!

Panties

Monday, March 22, 2010
June has a new silly trick. If she sees me folding Bella's laundry she will hunt for panties and immediately they go on her head.

She thinks she is being so funny!

They also work great as a necklace and bracelet!

Gracie Girl

Saturday, March 20, 2010
Today was my niece Gracie's baptism. She was so darling and so excited. It was a very sweet service. I have the Garriott gene that makes you cry and this was no exception. I just can't believe how big my nieces are getting. I remember when Gracie was born and they were still in Washington. She has always been such a sweetheart. She and her older sisters sang a song together that brought the whole thing home. I have to say it was one of the best baptisms I have ever been to. The kids all had a great time and I wished I had remembered my camera. My cousin Allison took this darling picture of her. (I hope she doesn't mind me borrowing it.)

Ketchup

Bella decided to introduce June to the wonderful world of ketchup. She went ahead and added plenty to June's plate at lunch.

June thought it was the best!

Chalk

Friday, March 19, 2010
June loves to be outside and runs out whenever she can. Today Bella was outside chalking with her friends and June loved joining in. Once I noticed how much chalk she was eating, I had to break up the party, but it was fun while it lasted!

Curlers

Thursday, March 18, 2010
Even though she really doesn't have much hair, I decided to try a couple of curlers on June. She was obviously not happy about it!
We ended up taking them out pretty quick and it didn't work. Maybe she needs to learn now beauty is pain! I guess I will have to try and find another way to hide the mullet.

Crazy Leprachaun

Wednesday, March 17, 2010
Strange happenings at our house!

While we were at the grocery store, a leprechaun stopped by leaving footprints all over the place, even on the couch and walls!

He even left the girls a couple of mermaid dolls for the tub!
June was a little worried about the green pancakes!

Bella loved finding all the things the leprechaun turned green, like the milk in the fridge, even the water in the potty!

Sweet Dreams

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Bella is so funny when she goes to sleep. She loves to have on her night mask and a heating pad for her back. She doesn't like to be under the covers, just a sleeping bag or blanket over her. I have to always check on the pillows too. She usually stacks up 3 of them so she is sleeping almost in a sitting position. I take away all but one so she can still move her neck in the morning. What a funny girl.

The Hunt

Sunday, March 14, 2010
With Grandma going to Texas over Easter, she had her annual egg hunt early this year.
Bella was very excited, it was all she could talk about for days. She loved finding the eggs and was very excited about her Silvermist doll.
June didn't quite get the eggs, but had a great time with toys and playing the piano. The girls were excited about their cash finds to buy souvenirs at Disneyland!

Bubble Beards

Thursday, March 11, 2010
Just a few more cute bubble pictures. My girlies love the tub!

Peanut Butter Love

I came into my bedroom to find this today:

June had found a peanut butter cup in her Dad's stuff and was enjoying it. Looks like the love of peanut butter has been passed along!

Little Artists

Monday, March 8, 2010
Bella has always loved to color and she has taught Junie to love it too.
Junie will see Bella coloring something and immediately start saying, "Color, color."

She will sit in her high chair and color which lets me make dinner!

Bella is always creating masterpieces that she loves to hide under our pillows. When she grows up she is thinking about being an artist like Jo.

1st Club

Saturday, March 6, 2010
An important day in any kids life, the day the get their first golf club.

Bret took Bella to the golf store and helped her pick out her first club. Then it was out to the back yard for her first lessons.

The best part, Dad made sure Bella had pink golf balls!

Snowy Spring Day

Friday, March 5, 2010
We woke up to a ton of snow so we figured we better head out and enjoy one last blast of winter.

Bella all ready, I am sure those earmuffs really help!

June was so bundled she could barely move. This was her first real outing in the snow.
Ready to face the weather.
Being out in the snow was bad enough for June, but the sled was it. She was not a happy girl. We went inside after this.
Bella and Bret stayed outside to build a snow man.
Yes, it was a snow fairy complete with wings, a crown and necklace.
Bret is very indulgent to his girls! She's a beauty!
Trying to catch a few snowflakes on her tongue!
It always ends with a snowball fight.
The final hit!
June thought it was best to just eat a little snow warm and in bed! And the very best part of spring snow, it had all disappeared by the afternoon!
