Primary Program

Sunday, September 28, 2008
Today was the primary program. Bella picked out this dress herself and was very excited to wear it. She has been practicing her favorite song "When Jesus Christ was Baptized" for weeks now. They called the morning of the program and asked for her to do a part and say "My tithing helps to build temples." We practiced all morning and she had it down pretty good. Before they program started they had all the Sunbeams sitting together. Unfortunately, one of the girls accidentally sat on Bella's dress. This upset her, she was so proud of this dress and now she thought it was ruined. She went up to the front and had the saddest face. It was hard not to laugh, my poor little girl. She cheered up and got her part out. I finally got her to come down, cheer up and then go back for her favorite song. It is Bella so it has to be drama, but we love her that way!

Fun Filled Fall

Saturday, September 27, 2008
We blew off the chores we needed to do today and headed up Butterfield Canyon.
Bella had a great time gathering leaves for her collection.
The fall colors are beautiful!

My Girls

Friday, September 26, 2008
Just a cute picture of my girls.

Elephant Suit

Thursday, September 25, 2008
Something about June in these jammies made Bret and I laugh. Maybe they were a little tight on the legs! But at least she has a matching stuffed elephant! We couldn't help but take a picture.

Retired Jammies

Monday, September 22, 2008

It is a sad day, I had to put away Genevieve's newborn clothes. She is growing so fast, not that she was ever very tiny to begin with! This little pair of jammies was one of my favorites, but it is just too small. I think this is the most mixed part of babies, you want them to grow, but at the same time, just stay little forever.

Sunday at Grandpa DeYoung's

Sunday, September 21, 2008

We spent Sunday evening up at Grandpa Deyoung's to visit with Morgan and Terry who are in town from California. It was fun to visit with them and especially look at Geoffery's scrapbooks. I think I found a kindred spirit!

Uncle Chris played with the girls the whole time. It is easy to see why they love him so much.

And this is my favorite picture from the whole night. It doesn't get much cuter than Miss Holly! (Bret has more pics up, he is really getting to be a good photographer!)

Puppet Show

Monday, September 15, 2008
These aren't the best pictures, but it was such a cute moment, I had to remember. I was cooking in the kitchen and June was getting a little fussy in her swing. Bella decided that a puppet show would make her happy. It was really cue to watch her trying to make her sister happy. Bella can't wait for Baby Sissy to be big enough to play with, let's hope it lasts!

Happy 60th Grandma Pattie and 1st for Caroline!

Sunday, September 14, 2008

We helped Grandma Pattie celebrate her 60th Birthday this weekend. We started out with dinner at Carver's Saturday night. It was fun to get together and relax without kids for a little while, I even left the baby at home! Then Sunday was the big party for people to drop by and wish her a happy day. Heather did a great job with 10 different cakes, plus mini-cupcakes. It was a fun weekend. We love you Mom!

And cute little Baby Caroline turned 1. I was talking to someone at the party and we decided it would be worth it to have twin girls if they could turn out as cute as little Liney!

Bella loved playing with her cousins all evening. She even fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Genevieve met her Uncle Dan for the first time. She loved him, especially because he immediately recognized she needed food.

And then fell asleep with Dad, just a little snuggle bug!

The Zoo

Friday, September 12, 2008
Have I mentioned how much I love our new 3 day weekends! It is so nice to have our Fridays free. We are trying to get out and do something as a family each wee, and today we spent the afternoon at the zoo. We meant to get there first thing in the morning, but as it turned out, we didn't get out the door until after 12:00. Here are some of the highlights, but check out Bret's flikr for better pics.

Bella chose the peacock so she could be Barbie the Island Princess.
Classic photo, doesn't everyone have one of these?
We went to the bird show for the first time and Bella wanted her picture taken with the eagle.
Cutest little turtle ever!

We Love Grandma!

Monday, September 8, 2008
We finally had all three cousins together for the first time. Genevieve, Cooper and Zoe with Grandma Chris. We sure missed having Hailey there!

Cousin Cooper

Saturday, September 6, 2008
We were excited to meet Cousin Cooper Clyde. Genevieve is certainly going to have lots of cousins to be friends with. Poor little Cooper is only the 2nd Baker grandson out of 11, so let's hope he can put up with a lot of dress-ups and Barbies. I think his uncles will rescue him when it gets to bad! Congrats to Lauren and Paul, he is a cutie!

Friday at the Fair

Friday, September 5, 2008

Bella has been begging to go to the fair for a while now, so with Bret's new schedule, we decided that Friday would be a great day. She seemed pretty unimpressed with all the animals, but did enjoy riding on "Lucky." As for Bret and I, we can probably live without the fair and Miss Genevieve slept through the whole thing. For a little health update, we had a Dr. appt. for the baby earlier in the day. He said she is doing great and he was having a hard time even hearing her heart murmur.

First Day of School

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

Today was Bella's first day of preschool. She was very excited to go and especially about her new backpack. (I promise she did this pose without any prompting from me. It must come from the fashion shows we do when shopping!) She loves having Kaysha in her class. It is going to be another fun year at Miss Launa's!

Big Bed

Monday, September 1, 2008
We moved Genevieve from the cradle in our room to her crib in her own room today. I think she needed the space! What a big girl she is!
