We headed up American Fork Canyon for little hike Friday afternoon. it was a beautiful place and we loved just looking out the windows on the drive up. Bella gets very excited to see all the trees and the river by the road.
We loaded June up in her backpack and headed up the trail. She loved to ride and laughed and babbled to Dad the whole time.
Bella was a great hiker running along. (Now if we can just get her to watch where she is going and not trip so much!)
We made it up just past this aspen grove before it started to rain. It looked to really get us soaked so we decided it was best to turn back.
Bella did a great job scouting the path. She really kept running ahead, jumping on a rock and looked all around to make certain we were still on the path.
Down at the lake, she found a great stick and was trying to do a little fishing. (I guess we need
Treavor to take her for real sometime!) It was a beautiful day and
especially nice to take a quick dip in the pool on the way home!
