Buffalo

On the way home from visiting Bret's Grandparents in Oakley, we saw these buffalo out in the snow. Not something you see every day.

What a show!

After dinner at Grandma Chris's house, we realized that it was fairly quiet around, too quiet. When we checked on the kids, they had discovered the box of dress-ups downstairs and were having a great time!

June loves a hat!

Lily was a beautiful princess.

Bella was a kung-fu master princess.

Holly was just plain cute! (Can you tell who Bret's favorite person to take pictures of is? This is the most photogenic kid ever. She can be standing around doing nothing and still she takes a picture to die for! She is just adorable!)

We tried to get all the kids on the bed for a picture, this was the best we could do. Cooper is a great sport to put up with all these girls. Melia was pretty funny, she just wanted to put on as many things as she could!

After pictures, it was time for the dance show!

Picture Attempt

I need an updated picture for my front room so I thought we could snap one really quick at Grandma's Guess again. Bella was sort-of willing to cooperate.

June was having none of this. She wanted food, a nap and to play. There was no making this kid smile!

Obviously, it was not happening today. Too bad, these are the cutest little outfits. Maybe next time!

Funny Bunny

June is our little clown. She likes to do these, especially if she thinks they are funny. She found these bunny ears in the dress up box and has been sporting them all day.
She keeps giggling to herself as if she knows she is really a silly little goose!

Stair Slide

So what do you do if you are bored in the middle of the afternoon and it is too cold to go outside and play. If your Dad is awesome like ours, he pulls out a sleeping bag and teaches you how to slide down the stairs!

Who knew you could have so much fun inside?

Do I even blog anymore? In my head, it is happening all the time, but getting it to the computer is another story! I do have a couple of months to update, but for now, I am going to keep moving forward! I just want to add a funny comment from Bella. One of my favorite things to do is listen to her prayers at night. She is pretty consistent about blessing Marme and her sister. Usually Par and her dad get a mention, Mom is rare. Last night her big change was Uncle Jared and his ice cream shop. After she was done she put her hands on her head and said "Whew, I just used all my brain for that one." What a silly girl!

Ice Cream

June took a big step today, her first ice cream cone on her own. She was very excited to have it handed to her. Now if we can just teach her to eat it from the top!
Bella has also graduated from the kiddie cone to a big one topped with cherry or chocolate! It's a fun treat!

Looking for the Sun

June found this monkey dress in her closet and was determined to try it on. Just the dress was not enough, a necklace was a must along with the matching hat. She was already for a sunny summer afternoon. Too bad it is January!

Bella got in on the action in her matching bikini and hula skirt!

Who cares if it is freezing outside when you have these two little rays of sunny fun!
