Festival of Trees

Always one of my favorite Christmas traditions is the festival of trees.
The girls were very excited to walk around with Grandma Pattie and have Becca and Aunt Katie join them. (Junie did ask on the way there for Aunt Heather about 100 times, guilt, guilt!) After crying over the sad stories for a few minutes, I love to see all the fun decorating ideas.
This cute little table top tree was decorated by my cousin and her girls!
Bella's favorite tree!

This was my favorite, it was too cute for words with all the bright colors and sock animals!

Believe it or not, there were trees in there, pretty amazing!

Of course, we stopped to see Santa. Becca was hysterical. Junie was not happy, but I made her sit on his lap.
She was still pretty unsure, even with Bella there.
Bella seized the opportunity to whisper what she wanted in his ear.
Junie was still scared to be by herself, but he put out his hand and tentatively, she took it.
Almost a smile, but a good grip on him!
After it was time for Bella's favorite part, the crafts! June proved she is expert at princess wand waving!
Bella jumped right in and started with a candy cane.
Glueing sparkles on her reindeer hat.

Then on to a manicure.

Bella went with a different color on each finger.
Becca was still a little traumatized from her visit with Santa.
June after all is done, notice she convinced the lady doing her manicure she needed two rings!
The girls worked together on their jolly jingles. We had a great time. Maybe one of these days I will get my act together and do my own tree, or at least by one!
