Somehow we always end up with two or three birthday parties for our kids and this year for June is no exception. We wanted to have a little birthday party and goodbye to Meg (she is going to Japan until January) so we headed over for a little swim. We did a terrible job getting pictures at this party, good thing I have another chance.

The birthday girl, not happy! She was not in a party mood, more in the mood to snuggle, so she want from person to person to get loved.

Bret made her cake as usual. It turned out really cute and actually tasted pretty good. Only after we ate it did he reveal the secret ingredients, butter and mayo!

She did not want to blow out the candles. Good thing Aunt Heather was around to save the day!

She ended the night snuggling with
Marme and getting Par to feed her cake. I missed the most tender picture, but I will never forget watching my grandpa feeding her cake and then wiping her mouth with a napkin. It was really such a sweet moment.
