Deep in the Heart of Texas!

When Bret's Dad called and asked Bret to come down and golf with him for an extended weekend in Texas, I said sure as long as he can bring Bella. When his mom called back the next day and said that would be great, I jumped on it! We told Bella it was her graduation from preschool present and she was so excited. She planned and prepared for days and days and finally off she and Dad went!

Cousins to play with the first day they arrived.

No worries, we can find the ball on the deep grass Grandpa!
Everyone on the golf course. Janine and Jeremy and their girls were just ending their vacation the day Bret and Bella arrived.
Mom put a little make-up surprise in Bella's suitcase.
Blue eyeshadow is coming back strong!
At the Texas museum. Bella didn't like the movie and walked out.
Under the Texas star! Bella and Grandma ended up spending a lot of time together doing Bella's favorite things, swimming and shopping. And by the looks of what she brought back, Grandma still hasn't learned to say no!
They spent one day at Seaworld. Bella wouldn't pet the dolphins.
Something was interesting though!
The baby Shamu, look how cute it is!
The penguin exhibit is always a favorite!
Bella loved the seal show. And thought it was especially funny that one seal was named Clyde, the same as Grandpa!
On the last day, before their flight, they headed out to see some caves. Bella wasn't a huge fan of the dark either. It sounds like Bella has learned early on, the best vacations include a lot of shopping! It was tricky to get them home, almost missing their connecting flight, but they ran and made it. I am glad they had fun, but Junie and I sure missed them!
